My kids’ feet would cover the page now; I’m not joking they all have feet bigger than mine. However, back in the day when they had cute little “feetsies” I was a sucker for any craft that served as a timestamp of their size.

Place your groundhog hot dogs in cornbread muffins, biscuits or a mound of mashed potatoes, depending on what meal you’re eating. This is another pop-up craft, but with the addition of goggly eyes, which of course makes everything more fun!

Supplies are easy enough to find–either on hand, or available at your local dollar store.

This precious craft is perfect for little ones who want to put EVERYTHING in their mouth. I'm married to Jeff, the love of my life, and together we've raised and homeschooled our three kids: Emelie, Meredith, and Kenny.

Cleverly made from non-fraying felt and a tongue depressor (instead of a popsicle stick) for easy gripping, this craft comes with a template and directions. Since 2001, I've worked from home in web design and development, branding and consulting, freelance writing, ghost blogging, and blog content management.

Plus, if you’ve been around for a while, you’ll know I’m a freak for Groundhog Day, because my hometown has a big festival for the entire weekend every February!

These Groundhog Day writing worksheets are a perfect indoor activity in case the groundhog predicts another six weeks of winter!

Most of us have the supplies this project requires tucked away somewhere; now, grab a kid and get busy!

With all the crafting going on the kids are going to need a snack!

From the edible groundhog (mini Snickers, M&Ms, and Starburst), to the chocolate mini cupcakes and buttercream frosting, this is certainly a delicious addition to the Groundhog Day festivities!

I’m a fan of Pepperidge Farm’s Milano cookies, so this was a no-brainer for me.
