Master Gardener™ training classes are taught by OSU extension agents and horticultural experts.

The program offers basic, practical courses in plant science and home horticulture.

Here residents, working with Master Gardeners through their Garden Club, have helped this community develop more than 50 productive vegetable plots.

We work with school children on the Green School Project.

Your commitment after training is to be a volunteer staff person for the OSU Extension Service.

The program coordinator will help you to schedule your volunteer time.- Click here for a brief presentation about what our MGs were up to in 2018 and what you can look forward to in 2019!CALVERT COUNTY MASTER GARDENERS - A printable brochure. You DON’T need to know everything about gardening — you’ll learn more and more as you participate in the program. You DO need to have an interest in learning and giving back to your community by working with your Extension office to deliver timely research based information.
